Welcome Back!
Vimy House is the home of the Military Technology Gallery of the Canadian War Museum and ranks along side with the UK's Royal Tank Corps Regiment at Bovington Camp, Aberdeen Proving Ground's Museum in Maryland, and the Patton Museum at Fort Knox, Kentucky as a world class collection of Armoured Fighting Vehicles. The collection is located on 221 Champagne Ave. N., Ottawa.

If you are interested in visiting Vimy House, please check here for the latest operating hours and directions.

Vimy House

I would like to thank José Manuel Funenga from Portugal  for sending me a rather substantial CD full of photos he took while visiting Vimy House. His photos have been added to the existing pages of photos that were taken by my father, Michael Nield and myself on our various visits. I have also created new pages as José was able to cover more vehicles during his trip. As time permits, more photographs and a listing of all vehicles in the museum will be added.

Also, a couple of links have been added, Quartermaster's Depot and Armoured Acorn,  which will be of interest to Canadian AFV modellers.

Cheers!

Dana Nield
