This discussion site compliments Canada's national HMV magazine CONVOY along with forum partners:
the Oshawa Ontario based Limber Gunners Association and with the British Columbia based HMV collectors/restorers club WESTERN COMMAND.

It's purpose is to preserve and promote Canada's honourable military history through the restoration of Canadian military vehicles of all types including: the range of CMP trucks (Cdn Military Pattern) Universal Carriers, other wheeled and tracked armour, Jeeps, motorcycles, and artillery as used by Canada's military from 1900 to the present, with a focus on WW-II. However as part of our mandate, wider discussions on related Canadian military history, and postings pertaining to weapons, uniforms, radios (communications) etc are welcome and encouraged.

Vous pouvez en tout temps envoyer questions et reponses en langue francaise, et nous essaierons de les traduire. ( We welcome postings by our Canadian and European francophone collector friends in their mother tongue and we will endeavour to translate such postings).

1) Respect is expected in postings, both in language and in tone. The forum is for the exchange of information, and there are areas where more latitude in posting is permitted but be aware that unsuitable/ frivoulous/ disrespectful postings will be deleted.

2) When responding to a posting, it is "strongly" encouraged to respond directly to the question here. Re-directing the discussion to other forums is rather impolite and messages will be edited or more likely, deleted!

Posting about other websites of specific information or interest is permitted. Note the distinction between websites and forums.

3) We would like all members to contribute, at the very least, occasionally. Thus, if your records show no postings after six months, we will presume your membership is inactive and it will be subject to removal in order to keep the active membership list, active!

5) We would like to see proper use of the language in spelling and grammar. Please avoid text-messaging styles such as "u" for "you". Canadian spellings are also preferred, although British is acceptable (eg tyres). It is easy to correct your own message if you notice errors after posting. 

 Note, moderators may correct some spelling mistakes.
